Somatic Facials
Taking a somatic approach to the facial experience is my specialty and one of the things that sets me apart from others. Although my primary focus is caring for the skin, nurturing the nervous system is a very close second. I am finding the connection between the two is undeniable.
A somatic facial begins with cleansing and gentle exfoliation (extractions only by request). The remainder of our time is devoted to a deeply relaxing facial massage to clear stagnation, sculpt the facial muscles, and soothe the nervous system. Afterward, you will sense a healthy spaciousness in your skin, see your beautifully sculpted facial features accentuated by your restored natural glow, and feel deeply rested throughout your entire body.
Massage techniques may include connective tissue massage, lymphatic massage, scalp massage, facial reflexology, facial gua sha, and sculpting for a natural facelift.

Everything I offer supports: calming inflammation (acne, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, sensitivity); balancing hydration and oil; firming, lifting and sculpting; and bringing out your natural, healthy glow. It’s just a matter of which modalities are used to achieve those results.
These special facials may feature any combination of the following modalities: gentle exfoliation, extractions, specialty products, facial massage, facial sculpting, facial reflexology, and LED light therapy.
The seasonal offerings are crafted to support most skin types and most skin care goals. I always have your best interests in mind and will offer alternative options during your facial as necessary.
